My third baby was born on April 8 and we're really struggling with what I believe is a posterior tongue tie, as well as an ULT, which is causing less problems but I would also like clipped.
I have a total of 5 years nursing experience with my older children (half of it tandem). Both of them had ULTs, only one of them had issues from it. And this is nuts! She cannot move her tongue properly to run the length of her mouth so she is chomping down.
You don't want to know what my nipples look like.
I have an appointment at St. Croix Kids Dentistry to have them clipped, but the soonest they could get her in was April 22. I would really like to find someone sooner, especially since she was on the smaller size at birth and I don't want to delay adequate milk intake.
Thanks for any help for referrals!
