Hi,

I was just wondering if there are midwives you can see when you are on Kaiser in Colorado (Denver area). My deductible has already been met for the year, so can't really afford to switch, really don't want to use an ON/GYN though!

I use Kaiser as well and they do not support homebirth options. We're planning our 2nd homebirth now and both will be paid out of pocket, without help from Kaiser.

I have Kaiser in Boulder and am thinking about paying out of pocket for midwife.  That is the birth experience that I want, not in a sterile unfamiliar hospital environment. Too bad insurance company doesn't support/agree with it.  Unfortunately, cost may be the deciding factor.
