I am wondering, lala, did you get an answer to your question? can you have a midwife on your team when birthing at a kaiser hospital? i am most likely going to labor at Exempla, and I also very much feel I need a midwife, or doula, present for my advocation. I'm sure it is out of pocket to have a midwife, or doula, but I still want her on my team.
Also, anyone know of doulas or midwives that have worked with womyn at Exempla Hospital?
