i am looking for a daycare or preschool for my 18 mo toddler that will not require vaccination for enrollment. i understand all about medical and religious exemptions. these are accepted by public schools, but private schools enforce whatever requirements they choose. since i know of no daycare or early preschool within bozeman public schools, i am at a loss. an unlicensed school is more likely, but how to find them?
I am unsure if you are aware of the Bozeman Attachment Parenting group that is on FB, I am sure we would love to have you there. We have had this discussion a few times recently. Even daycares are ran by the state therefore do require the same vaccinations as public, but more stringent, as they do not accept religious exemption. There are a few in town though (apparently) where a note from an ND has allowed to pass for a delayed schedule and the school has not checked up to make sure that the schedule was being followed. Good luck to you! I am probably going to have to have my two younger in daycare next year and it freaks me out!!!
You'd need to go a legally unregistered home daycare (caring for just a few children) as there is not a valid exemption for daycare in the state of Montana :(
