Thought I's bump your post up. Maybe someone is in the area and will respond. thumb.gif

I know there are some in Missoula!!  There are lots of crunchy mamas in the area, even if they're not on MDC.  Wish I was going there soon, havent been there in years, I love it there!

Not yet there, but we hope to be by next summer!

After much deliberation, Missoula is where my kids (11 and 12) and I have decided to go. Right now we live in Lawrence, KS. Missoula and Lawrence seem similar in a lot of ways; festivals, college town, etc.

If you don't mind, can you tell me what you love (and don't) about living there? Reading up on the web is so much different than getting a personal perspective. And it would be super cool to maybe not go up there without knowing anyone at all. :)  Thanks!

Bumping also -- my husband interviewed for a job in Missoula today and thinks it went very well. We live in Wisconsin and while I've always thought Missoula sounded wonderful I'm nervous/scared/excited about a possible move. We just moved here from the East coast two years ago, so this will more change for our four children. I'd love to hear from some people in Missoula - do you love it, hate it, somewhere in between?

We should know by next week if we're moving!

My husband got the job in Missoula!! We are moving at the end of October and are so excited. We told the kids last night and it went well...hopefully the transition won't be too rough.

If there are any Missoula parents on here, I'd love to hear from you. We have four kids (7, 5, 3 and 10 months) and are looking for info on elementary schools (private and public), preschools, where to buy raw milk (we come from WI where its also illegal, but we were able to find a reputable source), suggestions for holistic-minded doctors, chiropractors, etc. I know that's a lot - but if anyone has any tidbits I'd really appreciate the help!

PM me if that makes you feel more comfortable.
