Midwives & Doulas

I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and hopeful for my first full term/healthy pregnancy. I want to let my body go through the process of labor as natural as possible. I've tried doing research to find available midwives and doulas in North Dakota (more specifically the Jamestown/Fargo) area and haven't found all to much information. I view a midwife and a doula as the best possible aid to bringing my child into the world. I'm also interested in hearing some first hand experiences with midwives and doulas! Please share your stories with me!

doula search

I moved out here from California and quickly realized one of the first things I would be missing would be a doula... :-( good luck on your search!

It may be a little late, but try checking out https://www.facebook.com/BismarckDoulaCommunity - some of them might work out in Jamestown, I don't know. Or they may very well know of doulas that are active in that area.
