Hi all, I will be visiting my "snowbird" parents in Mesa this coming January with my 3.5 yo and 20 mo old. I'm wondering what sorts of things there are to do with little ones in the Mesa area. My parents are trying to come up with some activities, but their idea of a good time is a four hour drive in the desert with no pee breaks. Thanks in advance!

Diane, SAHM to DD (June 05) and DS (April 07).

Also, the weather in Mesa is gorgeous in January and there are tons of parks so you'll be able to spend lots of time outdoors.

Usery Mountain is a really nice place. It's far NE Mesa, but well worth the drive. It's beautiful desert with a few easy hiking trails and some covered playgrounds. They also have events for kids.
