I think my baby may have a tongue tie. I would like to see someone experienced to have her checked. My ped and LC don't know much about tts. I am in Flagstaff but we are willing to travel.

My son had his clicked in Tucson by Pam Black-Davis. We left her care shortly after that. Her breastfeeding info was outdated. She did use a liquid anesthetic so it wouldn't hurt though I've since learned the downside of that is it can be difficult for the baby to nurse afterwards. We didn't have any trouble.

Created an instant family (7/89 and 5/91) in 1997. Made a baby boy 12/05 adopted a baby girl 8/08. Ask me about tandem adoptive nursing. Now living as gluten, dairy, cane sugar, and tomato free vegetarians. Homeschooling and loving it.

Technically, it's called a "short frenulum" rather than "tongue tie." Please do more research before you cut.
