I haven't had any luck finding any of the brands I've seen recommended, and I'd prefer not to have to buy it online and pay for shipping. Anyone?

I just use "Sun Burst Free and Clear" that I get at Smiths for super cheap. It is plant based and works great.

There is also a Good Earth in Utah County that carries natural detergents.

If you are in the Northern part of the county, the new Smith's Marketplace in Lehi has a decent selection of products in their natural section of the store. Good Earth is an option but they are pricier than I'd like on a lot of stuff like that.

I was surprised by the selection of green cleaners at Target the other day. Maybe they have good laundry soap, too?

I also was surprised to see Dr Bronner's somewhere rather mainstream a while back. I can't remember now where it was though, so that's not really helpful...

Good Earth sells Country Save. I've bought it at the Orem and American Fork stores. That's what I used for cloth.

(I've seen Dr. Bronner's at Target in the cosmetic section.)

You can buy Country Save from Amazon.com for about half of what you will pay at Good Earth. It's 40 pounds for $50 (I think) and it's free shipping.

I just bought a 50 pound bag of country save for $40 from Azure Standard. Delivery fee was $13, but they have a ton of food and stuff to order to make it worth your while.
