I have an appointment at the UofA Medical Center on Monday. It's at the north campus. I'm having to bring my kids with me so, after the appointment, I thought it might be fun to do something in Tucson before heading back up to the Valley.

Any ideas? Since we have to head back to Phoenix that afternoon, I'd prefer to find something to do that's more to the North side of Tucson.

Tohono Chul park is located near Ina and Oracle. It's essentially a desert botanical garden.

If you take the back route home, you'll pass by biosphere 2. They used to do tours.

Created an instant family (7/89 and 5/91) in 1997. Made a baby boy 12/05 adopted a baby girl 8/08. Ask me about tandem adoptive nursing. Now living as gluten, dairy, cane sugar, and tomato free vegetarians. Homeschooling and loving it.

This is probably waaay too late but I wanted to suggest the Desert Museum. It is beautiful and the kids will love it. It's mostly outdoors but they do have restaurants with great food. It's worth the drive.
