Right now? just wondering what the possibility is of going sledding in the next couple weeks. i don't trust snowbowl's snow report for sledding. thx!

I would say it's a good possibility We have a cabin up there and it's pretty chilly lately. I would expect a cold frot with snow soon!

We just got back from Flagstaff yesterday There still is snow. Hart's Prairie up near snowbowl had great, thick snow. You can't sled where the chair lift is but, further down you can. We walked it in and it came up to my knees.

There's not much snow anywhere else in town that we saw but, we drive the back way (through payson/pine/strawberry then onto Lake Mary Rd) and once we were on Lake Mary Rd. there was a lot of snow and tons of places you could pull off the road and hike / sled.
