Can anyone help with breast feeding premature twins?

These are my first children. My top priority is breast feeding them, but I'm failing miserably.

My DS is able to latch but it only occasionally is not painful and he feeds for an hour to two hours and is still hungry.

My DD is barely able to latch and not able to suck. She loves a bottle and screams at me when I try to feed her, so I've just been pumping for her.

They both have plenty of wet diapers and I'll find out tomorrow if they've gained weight.

Can anyone help?

Thank you.

I forgot. I'm also constantly worried that I don't have enough milk for two.

I don't have a lot of experience with breastfeeding preemies, but you might get more hits for this if you posted it in one of the breastfeeding forums.  I hope you can find the help you need!

Call Lori Isenstadt,IBCLC, of All About Breastfeeding in Peoria. Her website is www.wwbreastfeeding.com.

I also know a LLL leader in the West Valley that is breastfeeding her twins. Send me a message if you want her info.

How is it going now? I've got 9 no ebf twins, and I'm friends with a few mamas with twins the same age in the east valley. One is a LLL leader, and one has bf preemies (who are now bigger than my huge at birth babies).
PM me if you'd like to come hang out with us sometime, or if you need bf ot twin support.
