I'm looking for someone (or several someones) to get together with twice or three times a week and take a walk. I have a 6 mo, a stroller and a mai tei, and I'm willing to meet wherever. I'm in Oakland near the lake.

Hi, I'm in Hayward/Castro Valley area.
That sounds fun.
But I think you may have better time getting a response by turning to local mother's group.
Is there a mother's group in Oakland?

I'd be up for walks. I'm in Berkeley. PM me.

FYI, there is an Oakland mother's group on I was a member online but never went to any get togethers. It does seem somewhat active.

I'm not there yet, but we're planning on moving to Oakland/Temescal this month for a new job. I'll be about 30 weeks pregnant when the move happens and I really need to get back into a walking routine. I have a 2 year old that I wear on my back in the mei tai- and being pregnant, I can't guarantee I'm the fastest walking buddy out there. We do have a stroller, but it's umbrella-like and low, so it's not the best on my back, but if I'm too slow with the toddler on my back, I can put her there. We rarely use it so she thinks it's the greatest thing ever.

Anyway, I would love to walk 2-3 times a week! And I'm definitely looking forward to meeting moms out there.
