Needing to do my 11-month old's first hair cut, wondering where to even go for that and who does baby hair?

We are also trying to be very cautious because we don't want a typical boy's cut; we actually want his hair to grow long into the longer styles. So we just need a little shaping so he can grow into that style, not a real "hair cut". How can we find someone who would be able to do that instead of just a regular boy cut all around the head? Any recommendations in the area?

Any children's salon could do that; just tell them what you want. I go to Chloe's Carousel in Rancho Bernardo for my son, and get my hair cut there too. There are also Pigtails & Crewcuts in Chula Vista, Kids Kuts in Escondido, Bambinos Salon in Carmel Valley, and Kids' Hair Salon in La Mesa. I'm sure there are many more.
