Hey out there.  This is my 8th pregnancy with only one live birt.  My wonderful 10 year old daughter.  I am afraid and am looking for support. It would be great to chat with some like minded women on a regular basis.

Cheers!

Hi Momma 41,

I see you have not yet had any replies, so I wanted to lend my shoulder, extend my hand or whatever you may call it to reach out to you to offer support. I had my only child at age 33, and he is now in college. I have not experienced all that you have, but I have had plenty of other challenging experiences and might be able to be there for you here and there.

How are you feeling today?

Hugs, by the way!

Thanks Governess!! That is so sweet of you.  I am ok.  Actually very happy to be pregnant again, even with the risk. I am only 5 weeks. I am nauseous constantly but I know the nausea is a good sign. Thanks again.  Have a wonderful day!

There is a local homeschooling group in Davis that you might be interested in. I don't know if any of them are pregnant right now, or what their ages are, or if you are interested in homeschooling, but it might be good to just meet up with people. :) And they might be able to lead you in a better direction. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/homespun_learning/

Also, there is a group in Sacramento for breastfeeding moms, and they often have people joining in while they are pregnant for conversation. An LC runs the group, her name is Jaye and she is fantastic, they meet Friday mornings at a local park. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SacBFMoms/

Hope this helps! :)

Thank you Monkey!  I will look into both of the groups.

I went to the Women of Faith conference in 2010 and heard that and just cried. What a relief to be told, to know, that I don't have to be anything more than who I am. And that who I am is enough. It was life-changing for me. I try to make sure everyone else knows it, too. :)

It is so true. Our self worth should not be based on what we do. Have you heard of the Center for Spiritual Awareness in West Sac?  It is a good place to go to be reminded of this. :)
