Hi,

We moved to Incline Village about six months ago. I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a holistic-minded md or naturopath in the wider area who has experience with young children. My daughter is 17 months old. Would love to hear from any natural mamas in the area too. Thanks!

E

A friend of mine used to see the Diamonds (Dr. John and his daughter Jane) with her children, and she recommended them to me.  It looks as if the daughter, Jane, joined a new practice, and they still work with the father.  They are in Reno, though.  You could check out the website--it's for Nancy Conley Family & Integrated Medicine: http://www.nancyconleymd.com

There are other naturopath & holistic medicine types in Reno.  The Conscious Living Center is one, and there is the Tahoe Center of Natural medicine: http://dr-riley.com but I don't know anything about them.

That is who we use for our care and the care of our son.  He's 16mo.  They suggest that you to have a "main stream" pediatrician as a back up.  Dr. Diamond passed away a few years ago and that is why Jane is with a new practice.
