i posted in Homebirth as well but have not gotten any replies. I have searched California/Nevada and have seen women who cant afford a HB either. Im in the same boat. I am looking for a midwife near my area. My midwife that helped me deliver my 3rd lives in Seattle, WA. I had my son in Tacoma in my old Apartment. She was free of charge. I only paid her $10 a month or more for Gas since she was a hour away.
I am looking for another Midwife like that or with really really flexible payment plans. I can not do anything thats $3,00-$4500 what i have seen on websites. Its isnt doable for us. My insurance is HMO. I have emailed and called the Human resource dept of the insurance that handles all that for new employees (where dh works) and nobody has called or emailed me back. I dont understand why that is the only option since it isnt even listed on the Employee website. they have PPO insurances listed as well and we where not given a choice. My husband came home with a packet for UnitedHealthcare SignatureValue HMO
All the midwives are out of network and only do PPO. I am not pregnant but want a 4th child and finale one before im totally done. If Anyone knows of a Midwife near me please send me links or let me know the names. thanks!!! Have a good night.
