I had great midwives for each of my births at Kaiser Redwood City.
Anne Galko attended my first birth. She arrived on duty just before delivery and had such a calming demeanor.
Kristy Culp Leonard was awesome at the birth of my son. While I was squatting on the floor as I was pushing a nurse kept trying to get me onto the bed. Kristy shooed her away, sat down on the floor and caught my son right there.
I never saw these two at appointments, but I will be forever glad that they were there to attend my births.
