Hi,

I'm wanting a water birth (I'll be delivering at Balboa) and was told that if I rent and bring my own birth pool I can have it, but the hospital doesn't provide birthing tubs.

Do you know of anywhere in San Diego to rent a birthing pool? Thanks!

My midwife rents hers out, but I think she only has one and most of her clients want a waterbirth. I would ask your midwife if you have one. If not if you just call one of them, I'm sure they can point you in the right direction. My midwife's name is Gerri Ryan and here is her site if you need to get in contact with her. Post again if that doesn't get you anywhere and I will help you find one!

Gerri Ryan is the only one I know of who rents one (Aquadoula). I bought a sevylor at Amazon for $30 for mine.
