If anyone knows of any houses to rent in either Anchorage (a nice area) or Palmer, let me know. It looks like we are selling our house and will be moving next month. We haven't decided between the two, so are just going to see what is available and then make a decision.

I've looked online for property management places...some for Anchorage, but what is the best way to find a rental in Palmer?

Thanks in advance!

weird! I just made a post on the May thread for a Palmer rental!

I have been hitting Craig's List dozens of times a day looking for a place. You can also check ADN or the Frontiersman.

For me, Palmer rentals were best found by word of mouth, but CL seems like a great way to find one as well.

LOL!

I've looked on Craigslist too, lots for Anchorage but I haven't seen any for Palmer yet. When it gets closer and we are up there I'll check the papers too. Thanks!

We found our house through a property management company here in the valley. Her name is Charlene Moss so you can google her This time of the year though there is really nothing. We are looking again because we might have to move in August since the owner of our house is in foreclosure and it's being auctioned in August Everything we've seen is really expensive and/or crappy

There is a house for rent on my street (Anchorage in Airport Hts/City View neighborhood). The houses aren't big (1000 sq ft) but it is a real neighborhood (sidewalks, city park playground & on the bike trail & bus route). I don't believe the owners use a property manager service - if interested I'll walk over and get the phone number.

I lived in that neighborhood until just over a year ago. We really liked it!
