We are re-locating to Kailua in mid October and I would love to get some recommendations for women's health, primary care and pediatricians in the area, especially those comfortable with alternative therapies. My husband is a civilian employed on Tripler, so I'll need to pick an insurance group too, if anyone has advice!

Everyone used to say Dr. Eesha but honestly he is crazy overbooked and rarely sees a lot of the AP ladies in town.

Dr. Chapman is technically good but people have complaints re: bedside manner. She's not going to be soft and supportive but she is technically great.

IF you have to choose insurance here AND plan to have a baby I'd go with Kaiser (harder to find Dr.s that are crunchy but the only game other than Tripler with midwives on staff for all your well woman care, it is why you can't find midwives out in town elsewhere).
