My husband and I want a natural birth, with a doula in a relaxing atmosphere.

I'm 29 weeks, due June 19th with our first child. I'm not a canidate for a birthing center or home birth due to my hypertension medicine. Therefore, a hospital is really our only option. =(

Basically, my husband and I are looking for some place that will respect our wishes and will provide a more relaxing atmosphere. I've heard that MatSu is more "natural" birth friendly even though they still have very high c-section rates, like Regional or Providence.

I'd say MatSu, especially if you can get the Elrod's on your birth team smile.gif. I actually had a pretty pleasant experience at Providence, but I wasn't high risk.
