x-posted in Breastfeeding:

No one wants my milk! Maybe some one here knows of someone who would want it. I sure hope so! I've been posting on Milkshare and I even tried IBMP. They won't take it because I drank Mother's Milk tea. Whatever.

I have about a gallon's worth in my freezer and the expiration date is nearing. I pumped for my baby in case something happened to me, but now I have not used it and I don't want it to go to waste. The hospital will not take it. I won't post on Craigslist because I get nothing but spam and psychos e-mailing me back. Freecycle is the same.

The reason no one seems interested is because I live in Hawaii, so it would cost a few dollars more to ship. I'm too poor to be able to afford the supplies or the shipping, so someone would have to pay to have it shipped, but otherwise I'm offering it totally free of course. I am more than happy to do the required blood testing.

If you know of anyone, I'd be grateful if you could have them contact me. My last resort is just to use it in cooking, but I'd like to find a baby who can use it first. It was my 2-4 month milk. I am very healthy and use no medication, even OTC medicine. I eat a lot of organic food and what isn't organic is all-natural. I do consume milk products.

Update: someone has asked for it who needs it pretty badly, so if anyone else is interested, let me know and I'll let you know if she changes her mind. Thank you SO MUCH!

Good on ya for being persistent and finding a home for your liquid gold! I just get sick when I hear of people dumping it out.
