I'm planning a road trip with my two year old and my three year old - driving from Nova Scotia to Ontario. I'm going to take my time, and figure my kids would be okay with no more than 6 hours of driving total per day. I'm thinking that I could stop in Fredericton the first night, and Quebec City the next. I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations of places to stay that would suit our needs! My main concern is that we need to stay close to our path and that it would need to be a place that's safe and clean of course!
TIA!

My DH and I have traveled past Quebec City many times (I live in Mtl) and there is one particular exit just off the 40 that has tons of hotels. I can't recommend any particular one, but here is a link that shows one, as well as the placement of others. boulevard Laurier I believe we stayed at the Hotel des Gouverneurs one time. It was VERY odd (decor-wise...) but totally safe and clean. We've also stayed in the Old Town but that's not too close to your route and can be quite spendy.
