I'm preparing for giving birth with a midwife at North York General.
I have a list of things to bring for labour and post-partum from my midwife, and a different list from the hospital (in their pregnancy journal thing).
The hospital seems to require more than the midwives suggest I bring.
Although I'm hoping to come home very shortly after birth, I want to be prepared for having to stay a couple of days in the hospital, and have everything I need prepared ahead of time (to make it easy for dh).
If you gave birth there, what did you really need to bring?
I'm thinking mostly of things like post-partum pads, diapers, hospital gowns, something for baby to wear in the hospital, etc.
