Hello,

Just moved to Montreal from Brooklyn, NY. We have a 2 year old daughter and looking to get her in to some sort of daily group. She's missing her friends (were in a co-op daycare 3 days/week in Brooklyn). Looking for: preschool, daycare, private or public, or a co-op group. French or bilingual. Really, just looking for a good place that people recommend. And hopefully not too far from the neighborhood as winter's around the corner.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've spoken with a handful of people, and the answers/advice have been along the same line: that we're SOL, up a creek without a paddle, etc. :)

Many thanks!

-Tom and Catherine

If you want to sig up for daycare check out this website: enfancefamille.org You can sign up for spots in daycare (including the sought after $7 a day subsidized spots)

A few close by options:

I gather the YMCA has a drop in center. (Mile End)

There is the latassegamine.com a café with play areas for kids. (mile end)

Maison Buissionniere maisonbuissonniere.org

Good luck!
