Any mamas here do Music Together classes? I believe they offer them at TCU, If I remember correctly.

Just wondering how you liked it, how did your LOs like it, oh and was it worth the tuition :.

Thanks!

I absolutely LOVE the Music Together classes at TCU!

My kids thrive from their Music program. I started going with ds2 when he was 18m because his pediatrician was concerned about his motor skills. I know from my own personal experience that music has enriched my verbal skills as in clear diction and it tunes listening skills. My entire family is very musical. My mother sang Opera and taught me to carry a tune.

I mention this because I'm profoundly hearing impaired with only 20% of hearing. You wouldn't know it because of how well I speak.

A few months into the program my 18 mo ds (at the time) began to speak ahead of his milestones. He didn't just say "his first word", he sang and entire song without previously speaking a single word. My dd and ds3 have been going since they were newborns.
Here is a picture of ds3 singing, "This Train Is Bound For Glory" :

The tuition is worth it, imo.
