Hi there
I don't live in Albuquerque anymore, but saw the thread title and had to pop in. I'm in Montana now (and just recieved a box of frozen green chile in the mail!). I'll be visiting Albqueruque with the family at the first of the year.
Anyway, miss the area bunches and wanted to say hi!

Hello Athansor! Glad you have some chile to hold you over until your trip!

I was going to start a new thread but couldn't think of a catchy cool title. I'm totally uncool. You're the best!

crazy - everything is acting fixed on the "neckwork" thank you so much
dh got another router jic but right now everything is back up - i think him shutting down and restarting his comp and power cycling again may have done something with all your fixes

Thanks for the help, emans, but DH and my dad got it installed. Took 6 hrs!! The old microwave was installed incorrectly, and they had to remove some tile, and cut other tile and it was this whole ordeal. But it's installed now and looks so purty.

ASF - You're more than welcome! So the old router works fine now, after power-cycling everything? Interesting. Well at least it's fixed now!

Thanks all for coming! S had a blast and is really enjoying the toys she bought. I've already opened the sticker maker (which confused me so we're going to wait for daddy to come home to play with it) and the dress up doll thing which S is really enjoying!

Somehow there is pink paint on my ceiling and blinds. They must of had fun! Dh took it as a sign that I need to paint the house. Anyone ever paint a room with small children? I mostly worry about Little S and his love of consuming paint (another reason he wasn't at the party yesterday.)

Dh took Little S to Super Rock Park at Encatado and Tramway yesterday. It has this huge rock hill that you can climb. So much fun! Little S ended up falling asleep on his way back home and slept from 6:30pm to 7am. I was expecting him to be up at 3am (instead I was.)

Good luck with the pictures!

so last night was fun
DS was over feeling bad so he was trying to climb everything at vball.
DD managed to not pull her pants down enough on the toilet and peed all over them. So i got to take both kids across the whole freakin parking lot in the cold and dark to get her more clothes. Well, i havent changed the "emergency clothes bag" since disney so she had a skirt and tank top as her extra clothes. So she put those on. Then she peed on them! Same thing - didnt pull down far enough. Luckily? her and ds have the same waist size so i put her in a pair of his extra sweat pants. They were like capris with a baggy butt

Today is dh's bday. His fav resturant is having oven troubles so he has to go to his second fav - poor guy

work again tonight - wish my kids luck

have fun with the pics eman

Happy Birthday Mr. ASF!

Elm, my sister would paint during their nap times and a few hours into their bedtime mostly.

Also, Little S has another rash. Not sure why but he's refusing to sit down again.

FullCircle Birth Center update- We are raising money for a capital campaign so we can open in mid 2009. Anyone who wants more info please PM me.

Lazy request- Who did we decide was the best pediatric dentist around? I just found what I think are two cavities in L's mouth. His first and I am so irritated. Anyway I need to take them. We went to Shaw but I don't like her.

Elm- painting the HOUSE? Now?

Also, Saturday evening I found out my mother in law had been in the hospital all week. DH didn't seem to think I needed to know. She had a GI bleed after a colonocopy the week before. I did let him live but only because my kids would have to testify as witnesses.:

That's crazy Doularn. I hope his mom is better soon.

I won't be painting until I feel better. I still have the insomnia and just feel "off" so it won't be until at least after the holidays.

Elm, I forgot all about the box! Do you still need it? Now that the microwave is mounted and seems to be totally functional, we can get rid of it. If we're doin' pg anytime soon, I'll bring it with me. Also, I hope you start adjusting to the meds and you start feeling better. Do they seem to be working at all?

doularn - hope she gets better soon!

We've painted nearly the whole house in the last 4 years, so yeah with crazy kids. I guess I hated the paint colors more than making sure the walls didn't get touched for a day or so.

DoulaRN, what is with the GI problems and MIL's, hope she's better soon.

I think Blue likes the guy she ended up with. I basically know where not to go.

Crazy, yes I'd love the box! Also does anyone have some 2 litre bottles? I need to fill them with rocks for some heavy work for Little S.

The meds seem to be helping, but in the mean time I'm tired and cranky. I woke up at midnight but at least I feel back asleep for a little while until Little S came in to the bed and tryed to cram his cold hands and feet under my body (it's a sensory thing and so annoying!)

EI called today to tell me there snow plan. I hope it snows! S has been asking for snow every day because she knows she'll go play in it with daddy and brother and then I'll make hot chocolate for them when they come in. She's really wanting the hot chocolate!

Anyone have a really good recipe for chocolate chip cookies? The recipe I used came out really crumbly and we ended up having to eat them off the cookie sheet because they were sticking and falling apart.

elmh, I'll get it to you as soon as I can. Also, your recipe is probably fine (most recipes are pretty similar) but you need to adjust for high altitute baking. When I forget and don't adjust, I get the same result. Mine are delish, but very soft and fall apart. Here's a little info on high altitude baking: http://www.ochef.com/327.htm

We use Dr Tasker (he is in the phone book). His office is near Emans, but I would drive to Mars for a good Ped. Dentist! He is great and the staff is very friendly. He also did an awesome job on C's teeth. You could also try Dr Lubar (they recently moved) - he does my teeth and will work on kids.

DH and I feel like crap. I have been having chills and shakes since last night. If DH wasn't sick too, I would think a plugged duct (one boob VERY sore!) since I have overactive letdown and oversupply issues

Glad you liked the science kit - it looked like a blast

Just a modifiedartist.gif trying to find some peace and regain my balance.

SNOW???? That would be loverly !!! Except I just ordered boots for both kids and a new coat for L today from Lands End. Watch tomorrow will be the only snow we get all winter.

Blue- Thanks for the recommendations

MIL is fine now. Thanks.

I think I am allergic to at least one kitten. I have never been allergic to anything before. But my eyes are all itchy when I am holding her. Also one or both pooped and peed on my bed : I moved the litter box out of my bathroom a couple days ago because it was too stinky even with changing it every couple days. I wonder if that made them mad. I am so not happy with that kind of behavior.

What was I thinking? Even my kids don't poop in my bed. The last time a cat did that was the day before I gave birth to C. And it was onthe couch not the bed. YUCK !!!

Anybody want a Fisher Price garage with cars for a kiddo? Its made it to the garage so now it can continue on its journey out of my house. I need to find the cars in C's toy box.
