Happy New Year!!!

We went home and Adam went straight to bed. The girls and I just rang in the new year with a sparkling orange drinks w/ cherries while watching Elf.
The party was awesome and now Eva wants us to buy a disco ball. Thanks for the party and thanks for the awesome food everyone!

Its easy to remember when you have a party for it.
So I will be cleaning today. I put all the food away and piled up the plates and dishes. DH went to bed before 12 and I re watched the ball drop and then turned out the light. we are so old.

Happy New Year and thanks for the party Doularn! We had a blast.

We celebrated this morning with chocolate chip pancakes in the shape of 2009. S wouldn't touch the number pancakes so dh and I split them. YUMMY!

When are we doing playgroup again? It's much needed around here!

Thanks for the party Doularn! We had so much fun! Ds really liked the disco.

Both kids crashed on the way home.
they were both up by 11 though.

Yes playgroup soon and MNO too. We talked about doing a wii MNO so the mamas can get a chance at it. If we could do it this week that would be awesome. ANy night this week works for me during the weekend or week. What works for everyone else?
We should just pretend it is a playgroup party and then "let off" the dhs by saying "fine you stay home with the kids and i will just go alone" then they will think they are getting out of something.

2009 pancakes sound like fun! We celebrated the new year with ham sandwiches, cupcakes, and watched the Rose Parade.

Any night is fine for me for MNO. I have to admit though, I'm not much of a game player.

Thanks so much Doularn for hosting such a fab party! I can tell you put so much work and time into it! The food was also awesome and I wish I didn't get so full so fast because I wanted more, especially your soup ASF.

Our morning has been real slow. I'm even sicker now and my head just feels like it's going to explode. Ugh.

I was gonna say we can do MNO at my house since I've got a wii fit, but we're leaving tomorrow for Disneyland and we'll be gone all next week.

Have fun

We have the fit, I can do any night but the 8th.

Crap I forgot all about the Rose Parade. We've been working on getting the decorations down, I feel like my life is being overtaken by stuff.

Crazy, feel better soon!

Doularn, don't have your movie but good luck finding it. I think we left S's present from Anodyne though.

I think I'm available from MNO any time this week. What about afternoon mom's time out? We'd talked about doing it so Blue and possibly peacelove could come.

yes you did leave the gift.

are we talking tomorrow for PG or next week? I'm off Thurs and Fri of next week but will have kid/s.

YAY M!

My C slept until 930a! L was up at 730 but went and watched TV.

D and I rearranged the playroom, dining room and office yesterday. I am sore and tired.

yay for M - i am jealous!

http://www.nashvillewraps.com./ShowS...s=033&Type=158

I am ordering here tonight if anyone wants in. This is to make tutus. It is more $$ by the roll then by yardage at the fabric store but sooooo much easier. They also have a bigger variety of colors. If anyone wants some just let me know today so i can get my tulle quick since C wants a pink vday tutu. It is 2.50/roll but if you order 12 rolls is is 2/roll. I use 2 rolls for a tutu.

you need about 2 rolls per tutu -i usualy use 3 or 4 colors so i get a couple of tutus out of it. Like for C i am using 3 or 4 shades of pink. What day is Cs bday? Once you have the tulle it will only be a few hours to make it and it is super easy just boring

lighter or darker pink/purple? There are a few shades of each. So like a lavender/baby pink or a violet/dark pink?

I had so many things that I wanted to get done today, instead I was on hold for hours with phone companies. AARRGH. We were trying to switch to vonage b/c it's cheaper and we wanted to keep our number since dh has been putting it on resumes. Instead Qwest disconnected it and vonage wouldn't help us. So we're canceling vonage, going back to qwest just until he gets a new job. Then I'm canceling them and using my cell phone. I was sooo mad I was yelling at people on the phone - not usually my style. One rep, I think the 6th person I talked to, said to me (after I went through my whole story) so what your saying is that you'd like an update on the status of you number transfer. I said NOOOO, I don't want an update. I want it DONE.:

Sorry I missed your call Doularn! S would have enjoyed playging with C. Next time, call my cell.

We were out all.day.long. It's been so long since that's happened. We went to the aquarium with my mom this morning, got home at 1, left at 2:30 to the library, then to MIL's house to drop something off and somehow ended up staying for 30 minutes even though we were the only people there. Then off to SIL's house so the kids could play with my niece. Now we're finally home at 7:25. And we're starving.

Little S slept last night from 5:30pm to 9:15am! I got up at 8:58 because I knew my mom was supposed to call us at 9 to go to the fishies, dh was up at 9:30. He's giving up his nap so yesterday he fell asleep early and didn't nap today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a nap day!

Mama of three.

I just finished reading the rest of the old thread and all of this one. Sounds like everyone had happy holidays! We did, too. Got the WiiFit and cannot wait to get home and hook it up. I spent two weeks in the boonies of Louisiana with only my iPhone to keep me connected to the outside world. It was fun, though.

We're in Texas now in our hotel and will be home late tomorrow.

Happy New Year!

We are six: Me : Dh : Ds1('00) Dd('02) Ds2('05) Ds3('08) and, wow! Soon to be seven, Dd2 due 4/23.
