Eman, thanks for lending us the life jackets! The best part of the trip was the canoe trip. The kids loved it!

Happy first day of school to L, E and R!

Glad they worked

So I made E's weight check appt. The receptionist said I could bring my baby in anytime She appoligized profussly but really how many 8 year olds need to have a check. Oh and my vacuum is most likely dead, should I get it fixed 100+ or just buy a new one, it's 4+ years old.

Buy a new one, emans. They don't build them to last, and you can get a good one for just around $100.

Woo Hoo! Egg #3 today. At least one hen is laying regularly!

Yeah it's a dyson, I've been on and off the phone with dyson most of the day, I actually had to file a formal complaint against the local repair company (the only place within a days drive that fixes them). I can mail it back to dyson and they will fix it but still. We blew through so many cheap vacuums over the years it was just nice to have one that worked, and worked well for more than 6 months.

D is out at the Depot getting a special screw driver to look inside it (heck we are out of warrenty anyway).

Her first day was just the most amazing thing ever : She loved it can't wait to go back her teacher told us she was the most ready k ever (of course this is only her second year but still ). She didn't even want me to walk her in.

Since it was a dyson i would be more likely to get it fixed.
I am glad R had a great day.

E will be going to school with doularn's C, so we start the 24th also.

I'm debating whether to take a class or two. . and in that case I need to figure out what to do with N. Full-time employment doesn't look like it'll be panning out, so now I gotta figure out what to do!

A link to the pictures is up on the other board.

And pg is my therapy. I'm really in need of it today too, but I just can't do the pool with S2.

Oh a mani/pedi sounds wonderful.

Window estimate 2 down (they are within 200 dollars of each other freaky or good). I think I want decorative prarie window internal trim. I'm trying to make this a little more fun.

A starts school 24th with doularn's and crazy's kids. H already started here Mon. and Wed. My new assistant is great and I think I might actually get stuff down the days she helps with the preschool.

Yeah, I'm missing you all too! Did we ever decide on MNO?

ASF - that's just gross. Glad it's you and not me!!!

So, I was wondering what everyone's schedules are looking like now that school is starting up again. Are we going to try for a weekly pg?

I also wouldn't object to an afternoon when the older kids are in school. Friday's R has soccer at 5:30 so we could do before that most weeks.

Afternoons are fine for me. That way we could get some book work done in the am. I'm ok, at this point, with any day (as long as I have our van.)

I will be with the midwives Tue/Wed but since ELmh will have C those days might help. That is if my husband is employed and I get to be a midwife.

We are home today cleaning and doing homework so DH doesnt have to do it all this weekend. I think he might self destruct if he does...

DS was a beast the last 2 night. Staying up screaming till all hours. He also threw the hugest tantrum he has ever thrown earlier this week at the bank. I had to leave and he threw himself on the ground in the dirt thrashing around for a good 5-10 minutes. It was awful and embarrassing.

I would like doing friday afternoon and dinner. We could probably also do monday or wednesday anytime with just the littles.

doularn - I hope you are all hanging in there!

asf - Major yuck about the poo! Z walked up to the puppy and peed on him this afternoon. Then bit his sister in the arm. I guess it was a pre-emptive strike I hate those public tantrums, they always make me feel like everyone is watching and judging me

Went to the Botanical Gardens today. Lovely weather with all the clouds, until the humidity hit blech. Cute little flock of adolescent chickens at the farm too.
