So, it turns out 3 kindy kids went home monday "sick" - i think the "homesick" was going around as they were all back tuesday.

we should be able to meet for a bit friday. We have a school community party that night but we could hang for a few hours - i am sure the girls would love to chat about their new schools.

Yeah, we have always used the heinz big bottles from costco because of this. It sucks that you have to worry about such things.

We have this theory that all the crap actually preserves the body. D's parents and my father are excellent examples of, maybe we should just give up and eat more cheetoos.

lol! my grandpa eats 6 fried eggs, 4 slices of toast with real butter, 1/2 pack of bacon, coffee, milk AND oj for breakfast every day. He is in his late 80's. So i guess that works for him too.

Ok why did you get him tested? You know nothing good ever comes from answers No, I've never had any of them tested, it's never even been brought up at any of the kids appointments or anything. Given all of E's issues you'd think they would but no, not even brought up, same with lead.

I'm sitting here right now with blue goo in my hair, an attempt at home highlights I'm afraid I'm going to be in the salon soon paying someone to fix it.

We've never had it done, but I'm thinking at their 5 and 3 year old appts I will. I'm wondering if they take after mommy (I'm always low in iron.)

Eman, good luck!

We had ours tested, and both were fine. Floradix (it is a liquid you can get in the vitamin section) will bring up the iron like nobodys business. Tastes nasty to me tho

Good luck Emans!

NY - I have heard of the program, but i'm not sure I would want to pay for the playgroup. But I'm also cheap, so.....

Missing everyone. Don't know when I'll get to see anyone. Schedule is far too crazy.

ASF- Hagan always comes back low at WIC but we have had his blood tested at the lad and he isn't low there, but he gets pica so.... He has gone meat eater on us and that seems to keep the pica away.

annodyne - yeah baby c isnt much for meat. he will roam the garden and eat tomato and jalapeno straight from the plants but faced with a plate of steak and asparagus and he goes for the asparagus.

Blue - bleck - i HATE floradix since i had to drink about 6 bottles of it after i hemorrhaged after my m/c. I told the wic lady i would use it for him and she had never heard of it! I told her i would not buy enfamil iron drops.

elm - that is why i was thinking of getting them both tested for D and big c tested for iron. I am always borderline anemic and dip below sometimes. With big c eating nothing and little C practically being a veg i think it may be a good idea.

BLUE GOO? Thats the color I used. You really need a friend to help EMan. I am a professional friend color expert. And I am free. I just did my hair dark brown last week.
