Doularn, I am glad things got brighter with the morning.

Yikes, Eman's!

So we started demolition on parts of the house. I pullled the carpeting out of the big back room, all 400+ square feet of it (brick floor underneath), and we turned a window in an interior wall (former exterior wall) into a double doorway. Matt cleared all the rubble and I got the house clean again by 11:30 PM, since we homeschool in the room where we knocked out the window!

My parents remodeled our entire house while I grew up, and I knocked many a hole in drywall over the years. I'd forgotten how AWESOME it feels to demolish the things you hate about your house.

So F wets the bed. No biggie, he's almost 4. M keeps putting him in undies and saying "he just needs to pee before bed." Four nights in a row he wakes up in the morning, wet. He sleeps very soundly so he doesn't notice he needs to pee, and I just want M to acknowledge this and put him in a pull-up for bed, OR get the kid up at 1 AM for a pee break if he is so insistent on undies.

We are six: Me : Dh : Ds1('00) Dd('02) Ds2('05) Ds3('08) and, wow! Soon to be seven, Dd2 due 4/23.

Glad you're doing better Doularn.

Eman and ASF, hope your babes sleep tonight.

KMJ, that sounds like fun. And I loved the pics on FB. The built in storage in that room is to die for! As for F, yeah, I agree with you. Pull ups were invented for a reason. Just think of all the laundry you'd save!

Dh gets home today. I cannot wait. It's been a long three days here.

House demo is wonderful, we are hoping to rip out more nasty carpet since there is another Costco coupons, however there is no cool brick under it.

Gee these babies, we should have tag teamed but that kind of night is so rare with her we both ended up being up. We both kept hearing the phatom screaming even when she was between us.

I thought I was the only one who heard the phantom screams of my children. Good to know I'm not mental.

I have 300 square feet of carpet in the living room and hallway that I'm going to tear up someday when I can buy the laminate/bamboo/cork flooring with which to replace it. That will be such a joyous day. I am so glad the back had brick flooring underneath it or I'd have had to live with that carpet for a decade. Priorities.

KMJ maybe we are both just mental.

I've lived with grossness in this house far longer than I ever thought. If you told me when we bought this house that 5 years later we'd still be living like this I would have laughed, then cried.

We're back from our trip and I'm popping in to say hi and see how everybody's doing. It's been kind of quiet around here lately, huh?

Doularn - how are you?

Elmh - How's the pregnancy going?

asf - Do you know if that family that you helped round up clothes for is going to need any winter things? I think I have some pg stuff that is 3T that might fit the little girl. And there are some shoes in there too, not sure what sizes though, and a lightly lined windbreaker type jacket.

Wow, it's chilly today! It's Autumn Equinox today, what appropriate timing for the weather!

When the husband drinks from the gatorade bottle marked "prep" the day before the wife has a colonoscopy, how could she expect that he would notice anything about her in the relationship.

I guess I will not be the only one with diarhea tonight....

And a big for you mama. I'm sorry things are so crappy. Let me know if you need anything. I don't live too far away.

Oh, holy hell! That's what he gets, I guess. And that prep stuff is horrible. He is going to be so uncomfortable tonight!

Hope it all goes well for you tomorrow! What time is the appt? Mine was later in the day so I had to get up early to do the prep. That sucked.

Oh yeah this morning he said "When you mix up chemicals in the fridge be usre to let me know." I said "I labeled it" he said " Yeah well I thought it was for Liam's school. Of course I didnt mess with it but you should have let me know." Uh right, so labeling "PREP" the day before a colostomy is not ienough, I need to INFORM him of this too....

Wow. How would something marked "prep" be for L's school and even if it was, why did he drink any of it? Weird.
