A Mom breastfeeding in a fitting room at Vista Ridge Mall was told to leave the store and was treated very rudely for feeding her son. Here is the full story:

I am completely outraged by this news story (saw it posted in the Lactivism forum) and would love to participate in a nurse-in, but I am clueless on how to organize something like that. If someone else will organize it, count me in! The poster in Lactivism mentioned that she is in contact with the mom from the story.

Actually, there is a small group of us who are already considering doing a nurse-in. The most recent development so far is that the mom (Naomi) had contacted their corporate offices yesterday and spoke to the General Counsel. She resubmitted her original letter of complaint and we were wanting to give them a few days to respond before going forward with the nurse in.

Last I heard, there was talk of putting together a centralized webpage where we could all get together and organize it, but not sure if that's taken place so far.

OperaDiva - plans for a nurse-in are already underway, IF it seems like the best course of action after the mom receives/doesn't receive a response.

If anyone is local and would like to be kept up-to-date on the plans, please join the Yahoo! group set up for that purpose:
