Can any Dallas, Tx locals advise me on where to find the best raw milk? I'm interested in either goat or cow, as long as it is raw.

I visit Central Market (off lover's lane) 2-3 times a month, and I'd love to pick up some raw milk while I'm stocking up on health food.

I belong to a Yahoo group called Raw Milk Dallas (original, yes?). They have a couple of folks run to the dairy and then the pick up is at that person's house. You can join the group by clicking here:

Also, Lucky Layla farms in Plano sells raw milk:

Hope this helps!

The majority of Lucky Layla products are available in area supermarkets and for online shipping. The raw products are available in the on-farm dairy store only, per Texas law. They are "quiet" about their raw status, as far as advertizing. Raw milk isn't illegal in Texas, but it is heavily regulated and it's quite difficult to achieve and mantain a raw dairy within the law.

Here's another list for Texas.

I buy my raw milk from Lucky Layla Farm in Plano as well. If you look on Youtube.com under Lavon Farm tour you will find a video of the tour. They are really nice and answer all your questions. The only thing raw they sell there is the milk.
