I'm struggling to find a child therapist/counselor in Santa Fe.  Does anyone know of a good counselor for an 8yo DS?  I ended up talking to a psychiatrist which was useless.  I need a counselor who will talk to my son, not someone who wants to medicate him before talking to him.  I'm looking for someone who has worked with kids and can help with anxiety, depression, and attention issues.  Any help would be appreciated!

There was a child therapist sharing the space with the Santa Fe Family Center down Galisteo beyond LANB. My friend, Kate Cook, is a therapist and works with kids and/or could refer you to someone. She knows about anxiety, etc. Her number is 505-982-4718.
