So today I've had 3 bloody noses all thanks to Little S bonking me with his head. He's also hit me at least 20 times and S the same amount. He's also had about 50 temper tantrums over nothing as far as I can tell. It's like the world is conspiring against him today. I hate days like this. Now we're sitting here watching Sleeping Beauty (I love Netflix!) and eating popcorn and he's finally calmed down. Only 55 minutes til bedtime!

elmh, sorry about your rough day :

So the Glowdeo was cancelled tonight. Bummer. We decided not to stay for the fireworks since I have a headache and it wasn't worth parking and walking all that way, etc. E was really, really, disappointed (we had been talking about it for nearly a week now!), but thankfully fell asleep on the way home. We did go to the Arts and Crafts fair this afternoon, so we still had a busy day.

We tailgated on San Pedro north of Alamedo for four hours tonight, ate dinner in the car, played board games and waited for the canceled glowdeo. Bummer. So we stayed there for the fireworks, which were awesome, and met a really nice family visiting from Minnesota.

We are six: Me : Dh : Ds1('00) Dd('02) Ds2('05) Ds3('08) and, wow! Soon to be seven, Dd2 due 4/23.

Ana kept saying "Is there a castle here? I want to see Tinkerbell fly."
The fiesta was fun. Too bad there were no balloons. !

well that makes it easy rach!

I have been baking and sewing all day long. I havent done a lick of cleaning but i have a huge batch of cupcake delish!

I have fully made one pair of elephant fleece pants.
I have cut out 3 others.

I made a small batch of chocolate cheesecake cupcakes (soooo rich! cant wait to be able to eat a whole one!)

I am still making other cupcakes now. I hope they turn out half as good as the choco cheesecake ones. :

Then i want to finish at least another pair of the pants.

Did it hail anywhere else? We had golfball size hail - i was afraid it would break the windows!

Rach - we won't make it. Dd is sick. I was hoping she would be feeling better today, but it feels like her fever is back tonight. I'm sorry. Tell A happy b-day for us.

That storm was crazy. We didn't have big hail, but little hail. Dh drove to the store and said there's dirt washed out onto Ellison and tree branches down by the mall. Weird.

Rach - how does that seem to work out? Can we just come over sometime when everyone is well to see if we can break out of this?

She is really not doing well. I have a feeling we'll be up in the middle of the night with the shower on trying to get her to breathe the steam. I did finally break down and give her some Tylenol tonight. Hopefully that will help a little with the fever and achiness. The cough though is terrible.

I want to come to both of your houses. I'm really craving chocolate tonight. Trying to decide if I'll make the brownie mix in my cupboard or go to bed.

Everyone is always welcome. But you can't get mad if the house isn't clean. LOL
Gosh, she sounds really sick! I hope it's not too bad of a night for you all.
Did I tell you Eva loves homeschooling? She tells everyone "I go to home schools." My nephew asked her "For how long?" and she replied "Until I'm done!" lol

ASF, that stinks. But you're sacrificing deliciousness and creativity for the greater good. I wish I worked at Dr. Jones' office.

Yum, now I want chocolate!

COMommy, I hope A is feeling better!

Have fun at the party! Wish we could be there!

Dh and I have now been married 6 years! Seems like much longer ago! I read a new artical sometime during our engagement that said like 70% of married couples, where one parent is under 21, are divorced within 5 years. I was 19, Dh was 18 days shy of 21. Some how this feels like a victory at everyone who said we'd be divorced!

So we totally missed a good party I see....

We've been out of touch since mom was in town. We went to santa fe, balloon chasing, mass assension and fiestas ( the day of the crash), took her to church twice (not my church),visited my cousin, rode a horse with the kids, two soccer games and now I am ready to crash. But today I packed for my trip on Thursday (yearly conference for the foundation) and got the laundry done, clothes set out for the week, h omeowrk done for L, made dinner etc and got both kids to bed. Tried to pay bills but the website was down.

Working MTW and Th catching a 8am plane. I'm feeling bad for my kids. Be back MOnday.

COMOMMY- Hope A is feeling better soon.
ASF- Thanks again.
ELMH- What day is your anniversary.Mine was saturday the 11th. ELeven years married. eek. But he got me a gift that required remembering what kind of jewery I liked and already had so that was good for a few points.

have a great week everyone !!

Doularn, don't forget to breathe. <3

ASF, my sister was so anti-lime frosting. I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks for the cake compliments. I just pretend to follow the recipe, mess up the first batch, try again but follow the recipe exactly, and viola! Cakes! lol

Breathe Doularn! Breathe! My anniversary was the 12th. M got me chinese food (Hey man, I've been soy free for so long it was definatly an indulgence! Plus, I found out my favorite chinese place here is peanut free so that made me happy!)

So my son is a funny little guy. He's finally saying Mama to me and meaning me, but he was also saying it to dh. He does only save it for parents so that's good. Then this morning he said "da" when he saw dh and then tried to say "hop" as S was hopping around yelling "HOP, HOP, HOP" over and over again. He can also hop pretty darn good for a 19mo! Dh and I were besides ourselves as this is the first time he's tried to say words! EI is coming tomorrow so it'll be good to get some ideas on how to reinforce this!

Wow I miss a day of reading and boy I need to catch up.

Rach we had a great time, thanks.

DoulaRN, you need to slow down a bit.

Elm congrates I'll try not to think about the fact that dh and I have been together since you were in elementary school. That is great on the chinese resturant but how do they pull that off? Isn't peanut a pretty big staple food topping over there? Oh and I bought Almond milk and E proceeded to drink the whole thing.

Little S just wanted to scare you with the words, now that you are worried he figures he can talk now. Little boys just like to worry their mammas.

Mom to ds 9 dd 7 : and dd 3/08 : if I can I go to

Thanks Rach - great party and oh-so-yummy cakes!! : C has been playing with the superballs ever since!

doularn - have a great trip, and try to breathe this week!! Your schedule sounds crazy! One of these4 days soon I need to get that cast from you...

elmh - Happy anniversary and congrats on the words!! THat is so cool and exciting!

We have to miss MNO My mom is coming into town tomorrow for a visit for a few days. Wish us luck in not wanting to strangle her! We will get C over to pg on Thursday though, one way or another.

Loving this cool fall weather. It could stay this temperature for another 4 months and I would be happy. Z must be working on yet another growth spurt - he has been nursing since almost 4am! And he is starting to grow out of some of the newborn clothes already too. yikes!

Kermit - I am working on the water kefir instructions today for you - it may take me a couple of hours since I have some errands to run, but I will get them out today for sure!

Just a modifiedartist.gif trying to find some peace and regain my balance.

I still haven't told dh about MNO, so we'll see. If I can go, then the Mongolion place sounds great. Little S is completely weaned now. Still not happy about it, but it had to happen. For now, I can eat anything. We'll see if that continues when (if?) I get a diagnosis.

Eman, that's great about the Almond milk. It really is yummy!

I love my chiro! Her office called today to see if I wanted her to do a home visit tomorrow! Um, YES! I was in there Friday and my back is so screwed up. Turns out it's a common problem when you have an electrolyte imbalance! I also briefly asked about cranio for Little S since EI mentioned it and she does do it, but we couldn't really talk on Friday because she was already running really late. Maybe if she's here at the house, he won't cry the entire time?
