That's awesome that M got to stay home. Hope you feel better!

Peace, no problem. Giving up stuff really sucks, but if you find the cause of your problems, it really is worth it.

Playgroup- any time after 10.

We're out for tomorrow (again). Now it's C who has this nasty bug. I'm crossing my fingers that B won't get it, but not holding out much hope. Guess what the cure is for a too busy schedule - sick kids. ASF - can you pm me the homeopathics you were telling me about last night? I think I'm going to need to go get them.

Thanks for coming!

Good luck in the morning ASF!

Little S's rash has gotten so bad in the last 4.5 hrs. It was nothing this morning and now it's so bad that having a diaper on is painful. We just gave him some Tylenol because I accidently touched his bottom to my leg (he's sittin on my lap, but his bum is not touching me at all) and he got up and ran to daddy. Poor baby. It's going to be a long night!

Wake up this morning and his bum is clear. Weird. I do have a feeling it's teeth. The two bottom ones look like they'll be in soon.

Thinking of you today, ASF...

Elm, thanks for hosting, we had a lot of fun. I can't believe how fast the hours flew. Of course I hit every light on my way to get my older two, and had to yell at them from the window at the intersection to go down a side road so I could grab them quickly. Then J forgot his crochet bag at home so we had to go get it and run him back for class. F was asleep the whole time, natch.

I'm really glad small S's bum was better this morning. Poor little guy.

Oh, and finally meeting C and M was awesome, I can't believe how big and active they both are! I could sniff C's head all day long, what soap are you using, ASF? I forgot to ask.

We are six: Me : Dh : Ds1('00) Dd('02) Ds2('05) Ds3('08) and, wow! Soon to be seven, Dd2 due 4/23.

http://www.makethemyourself.com/a-lego.html

this is too cute for all the lego lovers - it would make a super cute family sotume set too!

kmj - it was some conditioner i bought early in my pg with baby c. It is the bulk conditioner from sunflower - it is brown. It doesnt work worth a darn for long hair like me and big c but is fine for baby c and i looooove the way it smells. I hope they still carry it as i would love to get more for him.

eta - holy moly! baby c is 21lbs and 29.5 inches long!

eta 2 - this is the playdoh recipe i use
i cant remember if emans ever posted the other one

Play Dough Recipe 1
4 cups flour
1 cup salt
4 cups water
4 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup cream of tartar
Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan. Cook and stir over low/medium heat until play dough is completely formed and no longer sticky. Allow to cool slightly before storing in an air tight container or zip lock bag.

Variations:
Add one package of unsweetened powdered Kool-Aid to your playdough to give it a great smell and cool color

I got a buy one get one free Emfamil coupon from Smiths, if anyone knows someone that can use it let me know. It expires the end of next month. I normally just throw them out but if someone needs it this is a good coupon.

So I'm back with tons of wires stuck to my abdomen and a fanny pack thing to hold the battery. The pill was huge, but went down ok. I can have clear liquids again starting at 10:30 and at 12:30 I can finally eat. I'm so hungry and thirsty. Go back at 4:30 to get unhooked. I can't wait since Little S keeps trying to mess with the wires.

Hey all, hope everyone is doing well. Sorry I have been scarce, my mom visiting kept me pretty much off the computer. It was ok over all, but she just keeps getting weirder. Of course it started off just peachy when we were going to meet her for lunch, and she didn't show up at the restaurant (we were all starving and getting cranky) : She didn't answer her phone for about 30 minutes, when I tried to find out where she was in her rental car, but she eventually called to say she was shopping across the street : More craziness ensued. Lets just say that we only really saw her one full day, so I guess it was a good visit. Remind me to tell you about the kids sale shopping I did with her...it did not make me happy.

asf - hope your pain is getting better. It sounds like it was quite the ordeal!! But dislocating your shoulder and not even saying anything? Sheesh!

elmh - yay for being able to eat and drink again! It sounds like your day was pretty eventful too. I hope they actually start figuring things out.

DS started smiling a couple of days ago - SO cute! I forgot how adorable those newborn smiles are. :

I'm posting a question for you all at the other place...

So, playgroup this week? Ideas anyone??

Just a modifiedartist.gif trying to find some peace and regain my balance.

The sticky stuff they stuck the wires to my skin with hurt like hell taking off. It was just a 2 minute process, but I was so glad to say bye to those wires. I basically could not hold Little S all day because it pulled at the wires. Not cool. So now I just wait for one doc to read the pictures and then tell me doc who will call my and either tell me over the phone or have me come in. Waiting bites.

Blue, sorry your mom was how she was. And yeah for newborn smiles! So cute!

I'm always up for hosting playgroup. Though this time, I think I'll hide the potted plant. I still haven't cleaned out the bark to put the soil in. Maybe I should do that soon.

Ds is now trying to climb over our fence in to the neighbors yard. He picked the one with a dog. She's a sweet little dachshund but yeah I'm not thrilled with this new adventure. He also was messing with the bricks over by what will eventually be our compost garden (right now it's just a place for the doggy to do his business, though he never does it there) and crushed his leg. I was envisioning a broke leg, but all he got was a scratch. He's one lucky little boy!

Well, we managed to get Ana to 3 years old before going to the emergency room for a crazy kid related incident.
She swallowed a small BATTERY. An Xray proved she wasn't lying when she told us what she did. We just have to let it pass on it's own and take her in for another XRay if it doesn't.
GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ.
