Thanks everyone for coming!

Someone left a pink hat this week and last week (or maybe the week before) a ring with pinkish pearl things was left. I forgot to break it out to send home with someone. Also, ASF, I have your bowl but forgot to give it back to you.

We obviously didn't make it today. Sounds like everyone had a fun time! Maybe we'll be back in the swing of things next week. I decided that the hermit in me needed a day at home after a week of entertaining and being out and about with my parents.

We voted yesterday at the Wyoming/Constitution site. The line wasn't bad there either. Just about two people in front of us.

ASF I'm not going to bring the double stroller, the thing is really huge and I think it will be more trouble than it's worth.

Great party, COMommy!
Turns out, Ana did get a full sized Starburst. I was busy searching for the chocolate.
Ana fell asleep before we got home but woke up the second Adam put her to bed. Turns out, it was a 5 minute power nap. There are still quite a few trick or treaters out.

We had a great time, comommy! Thanks for having us over. And yeah, that cat is really strange! I'm sure she (sophisticated eyes and all, LOL) will be back!

We went out with my niece, SIL, BIL and 2 nephews. We got so much stuff. S got a full size 3 Musketeer's and Little S got a full size Starburst. They also each got 2 small bags of goldfish crackers and then some more candy from one house. One house gave little kids coloring books so that was cool. We decided to let Little S keep his candy after weeding through and taking all the peanuty ones out. None of his packages were damaged, so we didn't worry. S had 2 bags that opened, but neither were peanuty candy, so that's good. Last night, I enjoyed a snickers, a clark bar, a butterfinger and the full size 3 musketeers. I think I'll break my diet again today during nap time and hit some candy, but after that, I'll be a good little gluten-free dieter. Little S was so cute once he figured out what we were doing. After the first house, he was always right by the door with his bag. He even figured out that everyone was saying stuff so he'd make his little sound that lets you know he wants something. Of course, no one else knew, but it was cute!

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! And, for any of you who know what this means, Happy Samhain!

H was a ladybug and so darn cute! We met some friends at Old Town and did the trick or treating at the stores there. It was a little overwhelming for dd at first, but she did great and we had lots of fun. The ice cream store even gives away small scoops of ice cream to the kids. There was also an art table. It may become a yearly tradition for us. If anyone else does their trick or treating in Old Town in the future, I would recommend going early. Last year we went at 4:30 (although we didn't trick or treat then because H was too little, we just walked along with friends). This year we went at 5:30 and I think last year was better time wise with crowds, candy, etc. Although it still wasn't too bad.

Thanks we had a blast.

R was wondering if she could host PG next week. She says her friends need to see the house because so much has changed

I did not know they gave out free scoops of ice cream for kidlets on Halloween. I need to be shorter...and younger so I can get a free scoop!
I think that sounds like fun though. Might try Old Town TorT next year.

We voted. Took FOR-EV-VER.
And then the awesome fun day for the girls at Paradise Hills Park (Adam and I took turns watching the girls while the other voted) was ruined by dog poop, that Eva accidentally touched while hiding behind the bushes from me and Ana. Gross, gross, double gross.

Rach, we voted too, in fact we just got back. Where'd you go? We went to Paradise Hills Community Center. . .I figure you might have gone there too. Anyway, it took us about 1.5 hrs in total. Thankfully I thought ahead and brought some Halloween candy and other snacks. Kept E occupied, at least.

That is where we went. Depending on when you were there, you might have heard Ana screaming all the way across the park because she didn't want to go home. : I had hoped 3 would be an easier age than 2.....

3 is a much worse age than 2, and 4 is starting to seem scary with all the attitude S has developed.

Yes! 4 is the sassy age! I couldn't believe how sassy my nephew got when he turned 4 and then Eva got even more sassy when she turned 4. The sassy 4s!
BOO to 3! BOOOOO! Ana's 2 was just awful. I'm sad to realize 3 is even worse.

If anyone is interested, the Dia De Los Muertos Marigold Parade is tomorrow Nov. 2nd from 4-8pm at the Westside Community Center.

We went last year and the girls loved it because there were "Jack Skellingtons" everywhere! We stayed late and it got a bit chilly, but there were delicious burritos there to help keep us warm.
