What sort of clothes should I pack for my 4 month old daughter (and myself, for that matter) for a trip to Albuquerque next week? I expect it to be much colder than it has been in Austin and I don't have any experience with dressing infants for cooler/cold weather.

Here's the 10-day weather report:
http://www.weather.com/weather/tenda...ink_undeclared

I'd pack a couple of long sleeve onesies and pants. Also bring 1-2 short sleeve shirts cause you never know when we're going to go in to the 70's or higher even if it's only supposed to be in the 50's. Sleepers are wonderful for a 4 month old and you could layer it with a short sleeved onesie if needed.

Bring some jackets. They're very helpful if it's a windy day.

Mama of three.

On any given day we ae wearing shorts or jeans and anywhere fro a tanktop to a long sleeve shirt. My kids are hot so they usually go with a t shirt. It can be chilly in the morning here but then hot by midday. The best bet seems to be pants and a shortsleeve top with a hoodie in the car.

Thanks! I had actually checked the weather report, but frankly anything under 60 degrees sounds equally cold to me and I was having trouble envisioning what I'd need, or what the highs and lows would actually mean through the course of the day. Also, Jacob was already a toddler when he joined the family, so babies are new to me.

Days will be hot and if you're out at night they can be pretty cool... pants or skirt, short-sleeve top for daytime with a jacket or hoodie at night should be fine.

It's the high desert, the same altitude as Denver.

I'm further north (where it's even colder at night--low 30's now!), but I hope you have a great trip!
