It's been forever since I posted here... I'm a little sick of my OB and was wondering if any of you have a recommendation for one who has a more hands-off, non-induction type of doctor.
Unfortunately I'm not compatible with midwives anymore, since I'm a T1 diabetic who is over 35. Otherwise I'd be going that route again. The OB that I have now has me doing more hoop-jumping than I'm comfortable with... You'd think that after having 5 kids already that my body knows what to do on its own, but apparently my OB thinks that it doesn't and doesn't trust that my blood sugar numbers are in control (I'm a bit OCD with keeping my blood sugars at normal).
Anyhow, if anyone here has any recommendations, I'd really appreciate it. I have super-fast labors and know that I will be having the baby at home, as long as I'm not getting PIH or anything that would cause me to be induced early. (For example, my last baby came in 23 minutes from start to finish.) Which is I guess another reason my OB wants me to be induced at 36 weeks...lemme tell ya, my kids aren't fully cooked that early!
