My daughter had her baby on December 8th, and is having some issues with breastfeeding. The baby has a very severe tongue tie, but we cannot get it clipped until some things are sorted out with her insurance. Her nipples are simply not long enough for the baby to reach, so she has been staying here with me so he can nurse from me, which is going well.
She has been pumping, but her milk came in with a vengeance today and she is in a lot of pain, and the pump is not efficient enough. We would like to have my 2 year old nurse from her, but he is very shy when asked about it.

What we are looking for is someone in the area with a baby who might be willing to come try nursing from her so she can get some relief. We are in the Cascadia/Sweet Home area. I know it's kind of an odd request, but we're thinking maybe someone has a baby who needs donor milk and can get some benefit from this, too.
