Thought some of you mamas might be interested in Whidbey Island Waldorf School's Holiday Workshop this weekend, 12/5. It's from 10am-3pm and features handmade and waldorf-inspired gifts, such as playsilks, silk capes, wood fiber for spinning, handmade felted slippers, scarves, hats, puzzles, wooden toys, etc. Also, there will be tickets sold to activities such as candle dipping, silk dying, craft making. There will also be fun children's activities (gnome gingerbread factory and storytelling!), fun playground, live music, food, etc. It is sure to be a grand time, and a good excuse to come to beautiful Whidbey Island. We are only a 15 minute ferry ride from Mukilteo, just north of Seattle about 20 min.
