we're going for college interviews next week and i'd love to find out your favourite parks so my dh has a place to take the kids while i interview.

ds is 5 and dd is almost 2.

any ideas for fun day stuff to do with the kiddos and kid friendly restaurants is good too!

In Corvallis, try the Play Factory (at the Toy Factory)!

442 Southwest 2nd Street
Corvallis, OR 97333-4446
(541) 758-5415

A few bucks to get in, kids can play (warm, dry, safe & complete with bathrooms!), and get their hands stamped in case you want to come back after wandering down the street for some pizza (American Dream) or light lunch/pastries/coffee (New Morning Bakery).

Best of luck at the interview!

Yay Carrie! OMG! PM me your trip details and we can meet up. Also, look on the recent Eugene threads. There is some kind of indoor play area that is reasonably priced if it's too wet for outdoors. I've not been yet but several mama's here have recommended it.

While you are in Corvallis your DH could hang at the library. It has a great childrens section and there is a small park across the street if it's not raining. And it is super close to the university. There is also some kind of art for kids type attraction in that same nearby area. I never went to it when I was living there last summer. But maybe someone else will chime in with the specific details cuz I can't even remember what its called now.

Please feel free to bring as much sunshine with you as possible.

thank you!

i forgot about the library completely and an inside play space sounds like a great chance for the kids to get out and about even if it's raining, those'll both be on the list!

theia- i'm super excited too! can't wait for the girls to meet.
