Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me with Bellingham information. We are moving there in a June from Arizona and we don't know that much about the town. Does anyone have any suggestions on schools for a Kindergarten. We don't have alot of money but don't really want to put him in full day kindergarten. We are considering homeschooling him. Also I am looking for a good pediatrician who uses more of a holistic approach. And if anyone has anything else they can tell me about Bellingham, it would be so appreciated.
Thanks so much

My family is moving to Bellingham in June too!

You might be interested in the Bellingham Cooperative School, in addition to part-time and full-time schooling, they offer home school support.

In Bellingam the majority of the Peds are with Peace Health (formerly Madrona medical). We see Dr jennifer Rosquist. We do selective/delayed vax and she has been supportive of it. But even in our liberal, crunchy, go-green area, I have yet to hear of a ped who is against all vax.

We also go to Peace Health and see Dr. Anne Welsh. Highly recommend. We don't vax and she's been very supportive and informative-without being pushy. She's great.

Hi there! My ds has a naturopath for a pediatrician and she is wonderful. Dr. Knickrehm of Natural Family Medicine. We are waiting to vax him until he is over 12 months and she is supportive. I know she sees lots of kids who aren't vaxed so I think she would be great. My insurance pays for her.

I was thinking of the Waldorf school for when my little one is old enough. They do offer financial aid.

Good luck!!!

We're moving to Birch Bay next week and I've been looking for a nat/ped for DS as well. Thank you for all the suggestions!
