I love these. Grab a snack and tiny bit of green and enjoy the sights and sounds of the market.

Free classes to help defend yourself. My daughter and I thought these were very helpful.

This is great activity. Outside, at parks.. take a picnic.... your neighbors might have a set of discs you can borrow. I find a lot of folks play this sport here. Very suitable for kids 8 and up.

A great summer treat for kids. I'm sure the weather will warm up at some point.

Free to the public. Not open Mondays. Not very stroller friendly but the site is small enough to see it all in an hour. Take a picnic.

I would not take a stroller in and out of some of these galleries but there's a market area outside in streets that are closed off just for the occasion. I did this last month and it was nice.

If you haven't been... you need to go. This view is on most of the postcards from here. There's a playground down the hill from the rose garden where you can have a picnic.

Twelve miles of trails and some kid activities. Near the zoo and forestry center.

Not a good place to bring a stroller, but cool to do if you can take the volume in your ears.

Many of these concerts are free and open to all ages. The buildings are cool historical places decorated with amazing murals. Some of the larger spots have gardens and grounds to explore. There's several in the greater PDX area.

Went today.. this was a riot of fun. A tad lengthy for the littlest at two hours. They do pass a tip bucket a the end. Well worth it it. A very nice way to spend a lovely afternoon.
