I know they exist, but how to find them? DS 1 will be in 2nd grade, and other than one family way over on the east side, we have no friends who homeschool. We are new to homeschooling, and not yet finding many "real life" people or resources.

Thanks in advance for any help navigating this journey.

I was part of several yahoo groups that were in the Portland area when I lived there.
Also if you are not aware of it Village home is a great place to meet other homeschoolers.

You may want to just post on the HIP list (the 2nd one listed above) & ask where/what other Hillsboro homeschoolers do for fun & socialization.

thank you. I will check out those links. I had not heard of village home before, I will have to look into some of their classes I think.

Hillsboro area homeschool groups?

Hi all-

Hillsboro Online Academy offers full and part-time classes to homeschool families that includes all curriculum & a teacher behind the class. We have several families participating with us currently taking as few as 1 class and up to 4 classes with us. Give us a call if you're interested! 503-844-1050
