I do!  I had my second child there almost 2 years ago.  My son was born via c-section at Legacy Salmon Creek after a failed attempt at induction (but don't let that worry you - my situation was complicated so our attempt at induction was really a last ditch effort and not a normal situation at all!).

Is there anything in particular you'd like to know?  I can tell you that all the nurses I had during my stay were wonderful, baby roomed in (that's normal policy for them), they were very BF friendly and I was able to meet with lactation consultants several times. I felt very much that the fact that DS was MY baby was very much respected (very different from my first birth in CA where I felt like the staff thoguht of DS1 as their property until we checked out - ugh).  Overall, my c-section experience was great - DH and baby stayed right by my side the entire time except for the first couple of moments when they weighed/cleaned/bundled him up.  (They did lower the sheet and show him to me right when he was born)   My surgical nurse and recovery nurse had DS at my breast in the recovery room even though I felt kind of weak and woozy.  One of them "handled" my boob and the other held the baby up against me!  It was kind of awkward for a moment, but I really appreciated how seriously they were taking the "get baby to breast asap" idea ........         .   .

Is there anything else you'd like to know?  I'm due with my third baby in a few weeks and will be delivering at a different hosptial due to insurance reasons and I'm actually really sad that I can't have this baby at Legacy Salmon Creek.  It really was a great experience for our family!  Good luck!

I have experience helping mothers that have delivered there. The birth experiences are as varied as the mothers themselves. Some had amazing, positive birth stories and some felt that despite the birth tubs and midwives, it was very much a "hospital birth".
