Does anyone know how I could find someone who needs breastmilk, or preferably several someones?  Or someone who might like to cook with it in the next 36 hours?  Because my older daughter unplugged the chest freezer, and I now have 15.8 liters (over 4 gallons) of breastmilk that's partially thawed.  I'd cook stuff with it, but my baby is tube-fed, so no solids.

I just learned that.  DH is going through it right now, to see if any of it is salvageable (it's been refrigerated overnight)

Oh no, how heartwrenching! I pumped for 8 months, and can only imagine how devastated you must be. I can check with Eastside Attachment Parenting (I'm a member of the group).. let me know if you'd like me to post your contact info on their message board. I know that there were a few babies in need of BM that they were collecting for in the past.

Upon learning that partially-thawed != fully thawed, and can go back in the freezer, we were able to save a lot of it.  And I found two women who could take the rest.  There are three babies' bellies full of my milk tonight.  I'm very happy.
