I live in Sw Portland just above Lake O. I can get to the bus station and I have amazing schools for my kids. Not hugely walkable, though. Sidewalks are spotty here but I can get to a New Season Market and a few things on foot. The lots here are bigger than intown and a 4 bedroom home near me sold for 312k just last month. There's also a few cool HUD homes I spotted nearby. We also have a great state park for interesting family activities.

Or were you hoping for the Beaverton side of Sw Portland?
