We are moving to Bellingham in a few weeks and need to find a pediatrician in Bellingham, WA.  We would liek someone who supports breastfeeding, a slow vaccination schedule, and little use of antibiotics.  Any suggestions?

Also what are good neighborhoods?  I'm a little overwhelmed trying to find a place to live.  My husband just got a job there and we don't really know the city.

Thanks!

Mila

Hi-- we just moved here in October and are doing a selective vaccine schedule for our son, born in January. Our pediatrician is Dr. Greg Welsh. He has a very balanced approach and is willing to discuss things. He is also very supportive of breastfeeding. BUT, I don't thing he's accepting new patients. His wife, Anne, also practices with him though and she might have openings? I hope that's a little helpful!

Other than that, we are pretty new to the area too so I wouldn't feel comfortable giving any recommendations on good places to live. Congrats on the new job though!
